Meet the Team

Ronan Carolan

B.Sc. (Physio), H.Dip. (Acupuncture), B.Ed. (Teaching), M.I.S.C.P.

Ronan is an active member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). He studied post-graduate Physiotherapy in Trinity College, Dublin and graduated with an honours BSc degree in 1996 after previously graduating from St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra with a Bachelor of Education.

Post graduate positions with the HSE working in The Adelaide and Meaths, Tallaght and Cavan Hospitals followed.
Ronan completed Higher Diplomas in Acupuncture (UCD) in 2001 and APPI Pilates in 2004 and continues to specialise in musculoskeletal pain, orthopaedics, vestibular rehabilitation and treatment of the tempero-mandibular joint.

Ronan has worked with athletes and teams of all levels and disciplines throughout his career, acting as lead physiotherapist for teams at club, county, provisional, national and olympic level.

Niamh O'Brien

B.Sc. (Physio), M.Sc (Musculoskeletal Medicine), M.I.S.C.P

Niamh is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). She graduated in 1999 with a B.Physio (1st Hons) from University College Dublin (UCD).

Post graduate positions in St. Vincent's University Hospital, Tullamore General Hospital and Australia followed.
Niamh completed her M.Sc. (Hons) in Musculoskeletal Medicine in RCSI in 2005. She then worked for eight years as senior out-patient physiotherapist in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown and was appointed as the occupational physiotherapist for the HSE Dublin North East region.

Niamh has completed certification in spinal manual therapy, dry needling and Neurostructural Integration Technique (NST) and is a qualified Body Control Pilates Instructor since 2003.

Nicola O'Rourke

B.Sc. (Physio), M.Sc. (Gerontology & Neurology), M.I.S.C.P

CORU: PT033106

Nicola is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). She graduated with honour’s BSc degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Manchester and gained extensive clinical experience I then completed an MSc in Gerontology and Neurology in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2012.

Nicola has completed courses in Lower Limb Biomechanical Assessment and Treatment and has worked extensively in the area of biomechanics and orthotic prescribing. She now specialises in this area though her work in the Walkwell Clinic.
